A Brief History
Dennis Guelpa was raised in Victoria BC and attended Royal Roads Military College. He graduated in 1966 from the Royal Military College in Kingston Ontario with a degree in Civil Engineering.
After serving 3 years in the military in various positions, he returned to Victoria and held several engineering positions with the BC Government including Water Rights Branch and Parks Branch.
In 1972, he joined with Chuck Bullock to establish a Consulting Engineering firm, Bullock Guelpa and Associates.
In 1975, Dennis formed Guelpa Construction Limited.
Project Management Focus
When Dennis formed Guelpa Construction Ltd, he was primarily interested in Commercial Work which included Project Management. He still takes a professional interest in Project managment and for many years has been a member of the Project Management Institute organization.
Living in a smaller community provided an opportunity for Guelpa Construction Ltd. to work on a variety of Municipal, University, Schools and Hospital projects. Dennis enjoys challenging projects that tax the creative mind of the logical, practical engineer. Difficult projects are his speciality.
A Construction Professional
Guelpa Construction was involved in the Commercial field for over 3 decades and during that time, was heavily involved as a director and president in the professional organizations such as the Construction Association of Victoria, the North Vancouver Island Construction Association, the Vancouver Island Construction Association, the British Columbia Construction Association, and the Independent Contractor's Businessmen's Association ( Merit Shop).
Steam Bath Distributors
In addition to his Project Managment and Construction work, Dennis now Designs and sells Residential and Commercial Steam Distribution Systems for Relax A Mist Ltd. based out of Burnaby, BC and other firms located in the USA.
National Health Trends (NHT) Global (Lexxus) Skin Care
In 2005, Dennis became interested in an Internet Based sales Company that sells a variety of products designed to cater to our "Baby Boomers". These products range from a nonsurgical facelift system called Skindulgence to a hand and Foot SPA Lotion to an expresso Coffee machine.
